The Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival is one of the largest classical music festivals in Europe. Since 1986 it has been held annually in the summer months at many different locations in Schleswig-Holstein.

Neustadt in Holstein

Eutin 

Situated on the banks of two lakes, Eutin is a well worth seeing destination with its well-preserved old town and defiant castle.

Timmendorfenstrand 

Beach, promenade, Sea Life Centre and many boutiques. There is always something going on in this popular holiday resort on the Lübeck Bay.  

Naturpark Schleswig-Holstein 

The largest natural reserve in Schleswig-Holstein is located in eastern Holstein between Kiel and Lübeck: "the Holstein Switzerland". Mixed forests, ranges of hills and over 200 lakes characterize the region, such as the 5-lakes for example.
